If you cannot find your radio brand in any of the steering wheel control module applications, please follow these steps. This process will apply to models like Boss, Pyle, Soundstream, Atoto, and many others. Any radio that has a Key 1 and Key 2 input will also follow this process.
Connection: Connect the 3.5 jack from the interface to the SWC input port on the radio. If the radio does not have a 3.5 mm input for the steering wheel controls but has a "Key 1" and "Key 2" wire (or something similar), you connect the blue/yellow output wire of the module to Key 1.
Programming: Simply set the interface for Pioneer. If the interface has a rotary dial, the setting is "7". If the interface has a bank of 4 dipswitches, the settingis 1, 2, and 3 down. Once you've done this, you will need to go into the radio's settings menu and manually map the steering wheel controls. Below is a video on how to manually map the SWC on an Atoto radio. Most of however each radio brand is different so please refer to the radio's manual for exact instructions for your model.
