In order to sync live driving data there is a calibration process that needs to be carried out -
Before beginning, it is important that the GPS antenna is connected to the back of the H10 (connected to the blue fakra port). The GPS antenna also needs to be mounted on the vehicles dashboard or windscreen.
Step 1 – Drive the vehicle for approx. 20 minutes until the H10 picks up GPS signal.
Step 2 – Carry out 4-6 figure of eight maneuvers until off road data is calibrated and present.
Step 3 – Test and repeat if necessary.
the head unit relies on the pac-link hardware detection to work.
a lot of the issues recently seem to be because the small white connector that provides the input information to the heigh10 comes loose or is not fully seated home.
therefore i would check and secure the following connector example:
this appears to be the common culprit to date and route cause to why the vehicle info displays are temperamental.
I would secure this connection and just for prevention of re-occurrence, perhaps even add some securing tape measures around it to stop them from pulling apart.
