Hyundai / Kia Steering Wheel Controls Not Working

When installing the SWI-RC-1, SWI-CP2 or the SWI-CP5 into Hyundai and Kia vehicles, it is important to make note of the wires being used.

If you have the module installed, and it powers on (Red LED Illuminated) with the key to the ON position, but when you press a steering wheel control button the led does not flash green. It will be important to check that you have the White/Red wire connected, and not the Red/White. 

To tell the difference, for the White/Red. White will be the primary color and Red will be the tracer.

The reason for needing to use the Red/White wire over any of the other analog wires is that the Red/White is the only analog wire that is able to read resistive based SWC's over 10KOhms.
