Ernie, I spent much time figuring out this problem on my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. If I unplug the blue box, it would work for a few hours, turning on when I start it. Then the next day, the radio wouldn't turn on. I narrowed it down to the blue box as installing the original Dodge radio did not have the problem. Figured it was a canbus problem, but that's where I started searching the Internet. Thank goodness I found your article! I can't thank you enough. Jumper wire installed and all's good. Many many thanks for publishing the fix. Aloha, James
